Fruit Smoothie
This week, I will be making a fruit smoothie to freshen up your day!
Ingredients:
- 1 apple
- 2 mandarins
- 1/2 a peach
- 1 small handful pineapple
- 1 small handful papaya
- 2 strawberries
- 1/4 cup blueberry
- 1/4 cup raspberry
- 1/4 blackberry
- 4 dates
This yields 4 cups
Instructions:
First, put about half of the fruits above into the blender (Any blender is fine). Add a little less than half a cup and blend it all up to a baby food-like consistency. Add the rest of the fruits and 1/4 of a cup of water. Blend the rest of it up until it becomes smooth with no bits of fruit or seeds and enjoy!
Benefits:

Peach: Packed with vitamins and minerals and can help improve digestion 
Pineapple: Can help with weight loss and has antioxidants that help fight many diseases 
Apple: Can lower the risk of many cancers and is good for the heart 
Papaya: Can help with heart disease. cancer. digestion. blood sugar, and blood pressure 
Dates: High in fiber and can help brain health 
Blackberry: High in vitamin C & K and can improve brain and oral health 
Blueberry: King of antioxidants and can lower blood pressure 
Strawberry: Improves heart health, can lower blood pressure, and packed with vitamins & fibers


Raspberry: High in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber; can protect against diabetes, cancer, obesity, and arthritis.
